Rookie mistake... need help.

*sigh* So after taking pics for my aunt at her mothers 80th bday, I plugged in my CF card to my computer, imported to lightroom, and for some reason unknown to me, I deleted the pics off the card. Normally i save them to my HDD and i dont even delete them from the card until i shoot again.

So here's my dilemma, Lightroom will not let me export the files because the original file is missing. Is there any way around this? I would really appreciate any help.

If you are using Windows, have you checked the recycle bin on your desktop? That is always the first place I check when something like that happens.

I've made it a habit to not empty the recycle bin when I am working on a project.
