Probably because it was the only one I spent more than a few seconds looking at. Your 'original w/o glare' kind of gets lost in all the other edits. After a while, they all just started to look the same.

I think by the 40th time I had seen the picture, I kind of stopped caring about the small differences.

I see, so in other words the picture lost it's flavor due to redundancy. I can see that.

I also like the first one, and without glare is even better but is not such great enhancement, since the overall idea is already telling a story (slightly lost in other color conversions). No need in selective coloring because it is already naturally selective, due to such deep red.
