Back to the edit... how would I address the blown out spot on the stone? Clone tool?

That is what I did.. just cloned the unblown part of the stone.... works well... (man.. what a soap opera, huh?) lol!

I have to admit I still like your original image the best... I didn't mean to start all this ruckus by suggesting the B&W thing!

DON'T APOLOGIZE! I like brainstorming and bouncing ideas off of people. That's the only way we can get better. Everyone, no matter how experienced, can learn from each other. Some people are just trouble makers. Can't help that.

Click the sizes icon on the top right and it should bring you here, http://www.flickr.com/photos/compressedmemories/6196950464/sizes/l/in/photostream/ then right click and copy the image url. The forum however will have a maximum image size and anything that is beyond that limit will be resized to the forums limit.

The distracting white area at the bottom center edge of the frame needs to be dealt with. I'm surprised that hasn't been brought up yet.

Ummmm. I thought I did twice...Once by cropping it outt and twice by saying I did't address it in the edit, but its not my project to perfect either to put that level of effort in.

I like the original/edited original with the glare on the stone removed the best. In all of the other edits the background tombstones get lost and I feel like the perspective/gravity of the photo is lost with them. It's a very nice shot. Some people on here have a strange audacity about them and it's good not to let it get to you.
