I really enjoyed chasing after this very skittish wild parakeet family. I was chasing around a Sunbird and went very deep into the woods and bushes before finding them. I was literally crawling in the dense bushes on my knees to avoid being seen (also avoiding the dog poops all around), trying not to scare them away. And they were constantly taking turns to look out for anything moving. This is what birding is all about, getting as close to your subjects as possible. These were probably 'the' most alert birds I have ever shot, and hence most pleasing to me in a lot of ways.
Other than a couple of very confused street dogs and a very worried family who wondered what I was doing hiding the the bushes, it all went very smoothly
.
Would love to hear what you guys think.
#1 Am I seeing things?
#2 Nah! *Munch munch*
#3 Then suddenly they saw me and gave me this bone chilling blood freezing look
#4 All right, Feeding time!
