Try to avoid having the subject turn their head so far that the sclera is completely obscured; ideally there should be a least a little bit of white on either side of the iris.

I don't know all the rules when it comes to these sort of shots. I can see why you chose this angle. It added the rather interesting print on her shirt, which while distracting, changes the entire feel. Focus is good, lighting is good. I may have retouched it a little to hide some of the minor blemishes. But other than that, not bad.
