ROUGH LEGGED HAWK

Came upon this handsome rough legged hawk south of Calgary yesterday, I was able to get within 20ft using the truck as a blind.

And when is the happy event happening, or did it already?

It's finally warming up a bit (to -20 ) but it was really cold last weekend. We had a few windy days but we typically don't get all the wind that you guys get down there. A fair bit of ice & snow on the roads though.

The big event has come and it's been great.
