IMHO it lacks a little in sharpness and detail, what do you think?

Not a bad shot.

The picture is sharp and focused, however I am bothered by the blown out highlights in the duck's feathers. I think the composition would have been better if the duck had been looking into the frame rather than out of the frame.

thank you! i didn't see the blown out feathers, probably my monitor calibration could be better ^^'. next time i'll try to call the duck attention to something else to shot as you suggest. it could be a good idea
