Fantastic - whenever I try to get the RWBBs, I can't get such great detail in the black. These are perfect.
We have an RWBB that marauds my son's tiny little finch feeder. Wipes us right out of seed whenever he comes - either eating it or dumping it on the ground for the mourning doves.
Thanks CC, they really are an interesting little bird. I'm glad they stay away from my bird feeders, eating all of my bird food is reserved for the grackles who should be showing up as soon as it warms up a little, if it ever does lol
Love the little contrast of colours these have Bill. Excellent sharp shots and just love the comp on the first shot in here. Nicely placed with that twig and corner angle, beautiful backgrounds for a dark bird to stand out, really nice work in all these.
Nice clear shots!
Agree on the question of 'shouldn't we have spring by now?' That seems to be the question here at the Canal also? The Cormorants are sitting at the mouth of the Herring Run, just waiting, but we need a couple more degrees on the water temp!
