Sailing Photography

Hello

I am going on a sailing holiday in a few weeks and need some advice on equipment, and protection. I have circular polarizers and 70 300 zoom and wide angle and a mid lens. What am looking for is there some settings or other items I should be carrying.

Fresh-water sailing or salt-water sailing? I would pack extra batteries and memory cards, and batteries, lots of lens tissue, a weather cover, if i's salt-water, a 4l jug of distilled water, and ideally put it all into a nice hardcase.
