Ok, so i've been thinking about upgrading my XTi to a 40D for some time now. and my idea is to basically sell off my xti kit (w/ 18-55 & 75-300) and use the money to put towards the 40D. that way ill be paying significantly less for it. my question is how much to sell this for on craigs list. im thinking of offering between 400-500 candian dollars. i think this is reasonably priced since i paid more than double for that kit

thats usually what it ends up being... I bought my sony a100 for 780 and sold it for around 350 if i remember correctly. you might be able to ask a little more for it, but i really dont know what they go for used. I would suggest looking at finished auctions on ebay and see what they sold for there. (if you dont know how to do that, just go into advanced search, and check the "completed listings only" box)
