TPF Noob!
Well this is sort of backwards for me since I already posted in another thread with some of my first photo submissions, but I felt it was rather rude of me to just jump right in both feet first without introducing myself. So, that being said, on to the introduction.
I've always enjoyed taking photos, but was always using the cheapo cams and never really thought about doing it as a hobby. However, I always seemed to have an ongoing interest in what I was shooting and how well it turned out so recently I decided to purchase a Dimage Z3 and give it a try as a hobby and now there's no looking back.
My hope is that I'll be able to take what I learn from here and apply it to what I'm shooting so that I can create some quality photos. At this point I'm still trying to figure out all the features a camera has and how they apply to the photograph, so I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions.
Anyway, nice to meet all of you!
