How much sap would a sap-sucker suck if a sap-sucker could suck sap?
Gorgeous light; a shame about that one branch right up the middle, but still a nice shot!

Yeah, it was SO HIGH in the tree that I had trouble getting a decent vantage point to eliminate obstructions. How much sap would a sap-sucker suck if a sap-sucker could suck sap?

In fact, given the height, it might have been a red-bellied woodpecker, instead of a sapsucker.
Back in the day, my 'ol pappy used to complain about expensive things being "Higher than a woodpecker hole".
