Satellites interest me I think they can look really cool. what do you think I could have done to make this one look more interesting
or overall a better photo?

First impressions: the image is underexposed for the most part. This is often the problem you run into when shooting a subject that is mostly in shadows. Your camera's meter is looking to make everything 18% grey, so it overexposes the sky, the highlights, and underexposes the shadows, in this case the antenna, the building and the few trees or bushes in the lower right. When you turn this into a black and white image, the darker showed areas are to dark to see any details and the sky is too light. Rather than having a decent range of tones and good contrast in your image, you have some very dark parts and some very light parts, but very little in between. Depending on what the histogram looks like and the editing software you are using, you can probably recover some of the detail in the shadows and reduce (hopefully) the somewhat blown out clouds in parts of the image.
