saving lightroom presets

Might sound a silly question to some, I am not a tech guy! I have a new laptop and was wondering how to move my lightroom presets from the desktop to the laptop! I have over 50 different looks for colors, tones, skin softening which I use all the time. + If my drive crash, what do I do? Can I save those somewhere so that they are safe?? I guess I ll look online for the answer, but as I just joined the forum I thought I'd ask

You didn't mention which platform so I'll give you this since it covers both Mac and Windows. Even though it's LR4 I don't think anything's moved.

I know on a Mac you can also right-click a preset and do Show In Finder.
