"Foreign" companies have been moving out of China for a while now. Labour costs in China are much higher than 15 years ago. Olympus just finished moving to Viet Nam last year. I think Ricoh Pentax is in Viet Nam too. I have mentioned before that my Yi Technology (a Shanghai company) Yi-M1 body was made in Malaysia. Actually, I'm not sure how the people of Shanghai think of themselves?
