when using nikon sb600 flash with nikon d50 and bounce flash, why is my 3rd and 4th pic so bright , first and second pic seem fine 3rd or 4th will be considerably brighter, thanks!

Do you have BKT showing on your LCD display? The camera might be bracketing exposures.

Do you have 'auto exposure bracketing' set?

Unless you are changing something...your exposure should be the same each time.
