This lighthouse has been used forever by kids who want to scare themselves.
It's easy to take shelter using the entrance (except if there are more than three people of course )

I feel like I am starving for a wider shot. It kills me not knowing the bigger view. At first I thought it detracted from the picture but this works really well with the tension that the water action and scene portray. Very uncomfortable to look at, lots of suspense.

Cool shot, but yeah I really wish the legs were in there. I'm guessing they were cropped or left out intentionally due to some other distracting element?

Fokker, perfectly right about the composition. There were unwanted elements lower than that. It does not shock me because it somehow makes the kids appear even smaller.
