Scorpion Posing for Camera

Alright maybe he wasn't posing for the camera...but he stayed like this for awhile to get a shot.

Great pose from him and great shot - the focus is sharp on him - however I think this would have worked better with a slightly greater depth of field and also if you could have changed the angle a little more the left (or moved back a little) so that that front pincer was less out of focus.

Goos shot though and an interesting subject

Yeah, the DOF is so shallow that the scorpion's head is in focus but the rest of his body (stinger/claws) isn't.

If you could reshoot with a smaller aperture this could be a great shot.
