Got this one almost by accident and I thought the light did not work. In B&W it was better though...c&c welcome...

cute! i kinda wish the dog was fully in the frame and his back end was sharper.
but i enjoy the lighting the pensive expression

Wonderful lighting, but I'd like to see some of the black on the left cropped off.

I like the photo myself, and since his face and expression is the main focus, I think you could enhance it by making it a portrait shot and crop out his tail and all the black in front of his face.
