Hi,
Are there any people knowledgeable about cameras who know how I can fix this without paying as much as £170 (which is what a camera shop quoted as trying to fix this)!?
This is a Canon G7X MARK lll. I noticed the screen has become loosened and isn’t sticking to the back as it should. It still takes pictures as normal, it has no blurring or any other issues.
I asked chatgpt and it said the likely issue was:
the screen of your Canon camera has become partially detached from its internal hinge or frame.
Possible Causes:
• The flip-out mechanism or hinge might be loose or broken.
• A ribbon cable or internal clip holding the screen in place may have become dislodged.
• Accidental pressure on the screen or a fall may have shifted it out of alignment.
