Okay so I am working on a new theme called screwed... running with lots of ideas from people, animals, situations, and you guessed it screws! I honestly am not the biggest fan of either of these shots but I figured you all are wonderful creative and maybe can help me come up with a few better ideas then the one i tried today... It would be wonderful if you would let me know IF there is anything in these that you like, and of course what you don't. Maybe a few idea's to try with this tomorrow?

What are you trying to do with your theme of screwed? Is this for fun - can you do more humorous shots or are you trying to stick with pictures of screws? These shots aren't very interesting as they are so I am trying to get a better handle on what you want to accomplish with your theme.

Its very wide at the moment but I do want to do some sort of a shot with screws I also met some friends out to photograph some snowmobiling shots this afternoon and got one of a sled stuck in the snowbank it looks pretty nice I haven't edited it yet and another of a sled in a bush...

Well...I mean...it's a bowl full of screws? What is there to like? There's no clever take on the theme.

What do YOU have in mind with the theme? I'd suggest you think of a idea for the theme or think of a different theme

Great! There are definitely a lot of ways you can work with the screwed theme. All kinds of things were flowing through my mind. Do you want to use screws in the pictures? Like a guy with his shirt screwed to a board so he's stuck? or like, a husband sitting at a table, reading a newspaper waiting on his dutiful wife to fix him a sandwich and you see her putting a screw in his soup or something... I don't know - maybe these are dorky ideas but I am not light bulbing on anything with the bucket of screws unless you get an action shot of someone holding the bucket and the screws are all falling out of it. All these people would be 'screwed'.

I think the Op is trying for a theme of people in situations where you say...yeah that sucker's screwed which seems to be humorous. If you plan to use those pics as an opener, you should go for better lighting and a closer crop. I think it shows off more detail of the screws and makes for an interesting subject. As for ideas, err..well with the snowmobile, have your friend grab his head looking at his stuck mobile in despair while 2 passerby's on sleds?? perhaps pass along laughing their heads of....dunno..i'm a dramatic one lol..

Hey, this screwed thing ain't my cup of tea...
