on my Tokina 100mm macro there is a front piece where you attach the lens cap or screw on a filter. It is held on by three screws and I noticed the other day that there was only one left. I found one of the missing screws in my pelican case and I'm sure I'll never find the other. The reason it came off is because I had the lens hood reversing and had it in a tight space in my pelican, so whenever I pulled it out, the lens hood would be pulling on the piece that is now loose.
anyways, a simple fix but I just need to get a new screw. Are they some sort of standard size and thread? or are they different by manufacturer? or are screws from eyeglasses or other electronics the same?
