what camera are you using?

the ISO looks really high on the first one, number 2 is not a bad photo, but I would've been concentrating more on the boat with the umbrella, and number 3 needs something else in it to fill the massive space, my eyes just roam the photo looking for something else

These where taken with the Fuji Finepix E550.
Yes i agree with the pic 2 that i should have focused more on the smaller boat.
Nr.3...yes i agree there too...it's just a snapshot really.
I got a Nikon D40 aswell and i am going to the harbor next week and hopefully get some decent pics then.

the horizon in #1 is severely tilted. and in all of your photos the horizon seems to be in the direct center of the shot.... google "rule of thirds" or "photographic composition"

well.... its more about the way YOU think it should be. If you intended for the horizon to be tilted, then thats ok.

That was not my intention at all!..i have checked most of my pics and actually i can see that the horizon are almost in direct center of most of my pics.I need to improve on that!
