a great egret was having itself a fine feast at the local marina yesterday... must've caught 20 fish in the hour and a half or so i spent watching it. had some beautiful light to work with as well...

thanks, everyone, for the kind comments! we rarely see egrets in this region - i've lived here all my life and this is the first one i've seen here - so i really wanted to take advantage of the opportunity!
