Seals!

I recently went on vacation in the Gaspésie region of Québec with my awesome girlfriend. It was a really fun road trip. One morning, we to see a colony of seals in sea kayaks. The conditions were absolutely perfect that day and I got some pretty cool shots with my Tamron 70-300mm. We were less than 75 feet away from these animals when I took the shots. Luckily, we had a waterproof bag for the camera. My 7D is weatherproofed, but not my lens so I didn't want to take chances! Here are some of the best shots:

We had a waterproof bag strapped on the front of the kayak with spare clothes and the camera. The water was so calm (imagine a lake on a calm day) that the 7D didn't even get wet when I took it out for shooting the seals. My girlfriend was paddling in the back and I was merrily shooting away.
