I'm discovering first-hand what a pain the 9' rolls of Savage paper can be after bringing them home to discover I have 8' ceilings. Can anyone tell me if there will be any adverse effects if I store the rolls upright in an unheated garage? Also, I know that storing the rolls flat will ruin them by creating ripples, but has anyone used/created a rack system for storing them horizontally on the wall using a rod/rack system? Would this work?

I have kept the rolls in their tubes and slung them from the rafters in my basement. The slings are velcro and wrap simply around the tubes and we hung them with an eye hook. The clamp is part of the sling assembly. Got them at Home Depot. Its still a two person effort for the up and down, but even so on the BG stand too. :blushing: Hope this idea is helpful.
