Most forums have something like this, and I have no idea why. It's so annoying!

lol ya, i too find this sort of annoying... I think it's for spammers and stuff...

I always just thought it was so people couldn't overload the forum by running endless searches...

It is annoying as hell though.

Especially if the first search didn't turn up what you were looking for...

i have never ran into this issue... usually i spend more than 30 seconds looking at what the search brought up
