With the title, having her look up is good. I think it would be even stronger if she were on her knees, like she was praying maybe?

I think the angle and the lighting combine in #1 to give quite a masculine look. I like the idea, but I'd suggest softening the effect, without knowing how you lit it, it's hard to say how, but brolley, softbox, reflector etc would all be reasonable options.

#2 has a warm glow and an interesting angle. Nice shot.
