Seattle from Gas Works Park

I had a nice evening tonight. I got to hear one of my idols in concert at Jazz Alley (which also means great food and drinks), saw the Chihuly glass exhibit, traveled up the space needle, and finished off with photos from Kerry Park and Gas Works Park. I couldn't wait to see the pictures, so here I am at 3 in the morning. I'll just post this one for now. What do you think?

Great shot. Its nice and sharp at the small size. I would just crop it something like this since there is nothing special about the sky.

I do like the crop better. I liked the detail of the clouds, but mainly just the lower clouds that you kept.

Yes when I said nothing special I too meant just the area I cropped out. Whats left is really nice and goes well with the rest of the image. Again, great shot.

The original post works best for me. I liked the sky showing some cloud movement over the Space Needle, maybe don'tcrop out quite so much sky.

Well the nice thing is you can still see it.

Maybe this? I think it emphasizes the water line that leads towards the center buildings and allows a little more space for the clouds...

I like the pre-cropped version best. But if I had to choose a cropped version I would go with the one done by RxForB3.

I like the second crop the best, way too much sky in the first, it competes with the skyline too much, I like the sky and the color of it, but more of it doesn't make it better.

I agree with this analysis; more emphasis goes on the subject: the city skyline.
