So, I've never really done this kind of photography before. These are just my best attempts without reading up on it, and I'm really not even sure how well I did.. so please honest critique would be aweeesome! Thanks!

there is a person at the end of the dock who looks like they are 1 inch tall or something...it blows my mind

I really like #1. The diminishing size of the of the dock contrasting with the infinite expanse of the sky all held by reality the of the person walking the dock. Great job!

I like these and feel they work really well in B&W. The contrasty look also works well with the shapes and geometry in the shots.

Careful with tilt though, #5 looks asif it needs nudging clockwise a touch

Also a shame the bird in #4 wasn't completely in the frame Brill though, and you say it was a first attempt !
