That background does nothing for the portrait in my opinion. I'd have her stand about 10' away from it and blur it with depth of field. Also, the lighting is very harsh with a lot of hot spots on her face and deep shadow on her left side. Some diffused fill flash would have helped a great deal.
Additionally, she also looks like she's trying very hard not to laugh at something. Make sure you give the models time to compose themselves before shooting, and check that they are composed!
