Second Shooter | A Wedding {C+C}

Learning lots and not being held responsible if something goes wrong is the way to go! Some shots from the wedding I assisted at this weekend.

The first two could use more light on their faces, a reflector or perhaps a flash, they seem a little poorly lit. On the first pic he has a small amount of sunlight the top right side of his head, the rest and her head is shadowed, they should have more glow about them, in the second pic it looks like it is high noon sun over head maybe? Same issues, the last pic is an interesting perspective the pose of him holding her at an over the hill kiss is enhanced by the fish eye effect, nice work, gives a very whimsical look.

I must be getting old, they look way to young to be getting married.

As mentioned I think the first two needed a little more light on their faces. The posing is nicely done, I do wish in #1 his hands were a little lower and not hidden behind her arm, but it's a wonderful image. #2 is my favorite, it's just classic. #3 with the fish eye effect gives it a unique look, it's nicely done but something about #2 just makes pushes it a little a head for me.

I think they are great. I would of been very pleased if these were my wedding photos. Other than the shadows in the last one, but I'm not sure how that could of been prevented in that shot.

The shadows in the last pick could easily removed in photoshop, it would make it better

When I shoot with this photographer, I am shooting while she is up close and she has fill flash. Having a reflector isn't really an option, especially for this wedding. And none of these photos were taken before 5pm...

Mostly during the ceremony to get certain shots with the 70-200mm that she otherwise can't get. Or when she has to run to the bathroom. I don't know, ask her. I just get a lot of good experience out of it and I do what I am told. This pics are ones I snapped in background when she was doing her thing.
