Tins: I like the spectacle cords because they're practical ... and quirky. I can't read a thing without my specs so they hang around my neck from morn til night. When I shoot they perch on the end of my nose so I can look from the viewfinder to the screen to see what I got. She looks like Julie Andrews??? When I met her (35 years ago???) she was a teacher in Hong Kong. Half her students thought she looked like Julie Andrews and the other half thought she looked like Olivier Newton John (most foreign women looked like one or the other to the Chinese). Not so sure about the looks but she's definitely like Maria in Sound of Music in personality generally and like Mary Poppins when kids are around!

Squirrels: I use SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED quite a lot (SHE hates it!) but the first time I saw it as SWMBO I had to google it, too. (For those who don't know it originates from H Ryder Haggard's novel "SHE". A more accurate contraction than SWMBO would be SHE (capitalised), as is used in the book.... End of lecture. :lmao:

I agree with John that it works better as an "about" photo if you guys were facing the camera, in some sort of warm, inviting pose.
