Self-Portrait... C/C Please

Here is my first try at self portrait. The picture is supposed to represent myself...Im a pretty quiet person that feel pretty comfortable being alone. In background is my car, something represents me, something that most of my friends associate with me. Looking forward to get some feedback, I will appreciate any C&C

Seriously, its pretty good, I like darker images so its right up my alley.

It feels to me like your car is competing for my attention. Perhaps if it was out of focus this would work better. I'd also crop out the garage ceiling. The lighting is nice; I like the shadows, the glare, the glint in your eyes.

In terms of story, the first thing that this photo brings to my mind is 2 Fast 2 Furious; I love cars (BMWs, mostly), but that franchise never worked for me, and this photo evokes some of those ambivalent feelings. That doesn't mean it isn't good - it's just not how I would approach this project. If you like it, then it works!
