This thread was fun to read and nice to see peoples pics.

Nate, reading your post has me thinking about what a true self portrait of myself would be. But for now I'm putting up a picture that I'm okay with people seeing rather than how I see myself.

Trish and Manda, it's your fault I'm doing this. So Trish, what did you win with that bet?

OK then, by way of yet another introduction, here's my "self-portrait", in combination with my niece Emily. Credits go to my brother, who took this one on 26 Dec 2003:

There's another "introduction" in the Gallery (way down towards the bottom) with another of my photos, and a "portrait" in the Themes somewhere - one that simultaneously introduces you to my husband, whose eye is looking at you any time you read one of my posts

This was taken last week with my buddie's Canon G5 digital. We were on some private land. The owner offered to find buyers for our photographs, and then gave us homemade cookies when we came back up out of the snowy woods. It was a perfect day of photography.
