nicely done but I suggest you lower the brightness on the hand.
As it is they are the brightest part of the image and draw attention from the face.

Agree w/Lew re the hand brightness. I would also shop out that teensy speck on the glasses (wearers left lens)

I don't find the bright hand distracting. It has the same brightness of the rest of the bright side of face. To me it forms a continuos from face to little finger. That helps my eye going to the face. I would find innatural less light on the hand. Good as it is for me, sir. Congratulation for the nice self portrait.
