Selling your photos as NFT's thru a Blockchain format

Has anyone tried or thought of selling you pics by turning them into "non fungible tokens" ?? I have heard that there good and bad about this.....

It's early days and a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon with these, but as far as I understand they are simply a digital reciept. Why ordinary people would buy them, other than the desire to flip them for a profit in the current crypto madness, is beyond me.

I could see them being used commercially to validate licencing agreements or things along those lines, but generally I think their use will be limited once the market calms down.

If I was a famous artist right now I'd probably do some online works and get NFTs for them just to see how it goes
