Senior photos first time

It's starting out in photography. Still learning Lightroom and taking portraits in general. C and C please.

Love the first photo - definite winner! The other two - I am overly distracted by the vignette - it's too strong IMO.

The pose in #2 isn't flattering at all, it doesn't even look like the same person as #1 & #3. I generally try not to look up at female subjects.

#1 is a keeper though, great shot! Also, what PinkDoor said.

Up the nose almost never (well, never really) works. Tone the vignette way back in the third and it (in addition to the first) will be a keeper.

Agreed. #1 is a strong image and compliments her well. Vignettes look cheesy. I personally feel that vignettes should only be used when needed for a correction and not as a gimmick.

Thank you for all the comments! Like I said, I'm still new to Lightroom. It seems pretty much unanimous that I shouldn't use vignette as much.

I wonder if in 3 it would have been better to lay her head against the tree vs. her shoulders and head sticking forward a bit. Just a random thought...dunno.
