Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Last week my best friend asked if I could take some pics of him. He graduated but hadnt gotten senior pics yet. So i said sure! Free of charge since its for practice. Never done this before. So give me your worst!

PS. Quality might be a little under par since they are from facebook. If they look over processed its because its what he wanted. (Ie. #1. And #6.)

Thanks for looking

#3 and #4 i don't like much the rest are good.

I love 3 (could maybe be a bit better without the window in the background though), 5, and 6. 4 is a bit...lacking. Doesn't look too overprocessed, I think. Try running some of these through B&W and play around with the filters. In my opinion, shots like number one would look great in BW.

In a majority of these, your subject is insignificant, and the background dominates. Also, I feel you are placing the subject to close to the edge of the image.

I was thinking the same things...too far away with too short of a focal length, and crowding the edges of the frame for some undetermined 'reason'...

Also, what's up with the grainy look? Are these scanned images from color prints or something?

+1
an example of this is 6.
even after first glance, my eyes were still staring at the big door with rough paint and the words Private Event. and everytime i scrolled passed the pictures my eyes went there and never to the subject

I super like comments in this post because we can learn more and improve more hahaha..... Sorry I can't help liking the comments ;)

Bitter Jeweler and derrel your such a great help for newbies with all the comments I saw here from you guys ;)

Haha, thanks guys. Like i said this was my first time trying this type of photog and I will def take into account what all you are saying. And Derrel, they are over processed. Not scanned. But i really see your point. Thanks.

Is grainy and having too much noise photos are caused by over processing?

Yes, or shooting with a high ISO, or bad webhost compression.

1 and 5 are my fav. good job though. 2 and 3 have got to go. i wouldnt wanna see a pic like that of my brother, cousin or friend in my house framed.

ISO was always below 400. Its cus Fbook hosted them and because I sharpened them in PP too much.

I also notice this in social networking sites like FB that some photos of mine and my friends is getting grainy when we post it :(
