Shadow of the Grand Mesa

Hello everyone,

I really, really like this shot, but I think I could possibly do more with it. Is there a way to remove extra haze on the Grand Mesa? I would appreciate any critiques. I think the subject makes for a fantastic photograph! For post-processing I use Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. I just think it was cool to take a great landscape at 70mm! In the future would a higher aperture create a sharper image of the Mesa and reduce some of the "haziness?" I hope everyone enjoys the photograph.
