I like the idea, but in all frankness, the grain kills it for me...not to mention that she seems pasted on top and doesn't really seem part of the image. Not accusing you of doing that in the slightest, just how it looks to me.

To me it has a very dark kind of halloween feel to it. Possibly if there was some kind of shadow in the brush across the way. I think the grain on her is just a tad wee bit too much, a tiny little bit less I think would make it perfect.

I didn't like the results I wass getting from my scanner, so I had the negs scanned at my local camera shop...I thought that might look better online. The prints from this session don't look grainy at all. I might go print another one of these and scann it and compare.
