The second one is really nice, the way the leaves splay out behind the subject and that it is slightly more in focus, it would have been nice to have more forground light or less background light to take the background out a bit or perhaps a bit of angles light blue paper behing the subject to bring him out and hide the straight lines in the background though.

Yes he was very young at the time I took the pictures, just a month or so i believe, hes going on a year now, just not a cute as when he was a baby, guess thats the same with all animals though.

Yes i agree with you Tim, the background lighting is a little distracting, unfortunatly it's coming from another aquarium and I didnt want to make the beardie cranky.
