Even tho they say it won't really be bad, especially compared to 1980, this has had me a little on edge for the last couple days. I wish it would just do whatever its gonna do and get it over with!

Saw a webcam shot of Helens were a fly had landed on the lens. Look like a monster movie set in Japan.

A few hours away. My family lived close to where Orie did when it blew the first time. Ash was several inches thick in Portland.

The mountain is 50 miles from Portland. I remember having to wear an air filter mask whenever we went outside, like to go to the school bus. I wasn't even 9 yet so I don't remember too much else though.
