Shooting Cheesy Tourist photos? (UWA or Fisheye?)

I'm going to NYC in a month just for fun with a few friends. I do plan to bring my camera and shoot some photos but mostly just cheesy tourist type photos like friends standing on the empire state building, times square, etc.

So this brings me to a few questions. Since I can't bring a full frame body, my 24-70 probably won't be wide enough for a lot of places to get as much of the buildings in as I want. Plus I don't really care for that lens at 24-30ish mm on a crop sensor due to the wide angle view it's actually designed for.

I can either choose an UWA (Sigma 10-20 or Nikon 12-24) or go with a fisheye.

My concern is that with an UWA, since there's rectilinear correction, people would be unbearable to look at and deformed which I don't want.

Would it be too drastic to only go with a Tokina 10-17 fisheye zoom? I find people look a little distorted but much much better with it than an UWA, plus fisheye hemi would correct the rest? Especially if they stay closer to the center of the frame?

I am only going to get one of the 3, definitely can't bring 2 of them. Also I'm shooting a D7000 for this trip.

Any thoughts/opinions?
