Shooting in the rain?

Im just curious, i dont like the sound of rain, but im off to shoot F1 for the next few days, at silverstone, and with the weather being as it is, can you shoot in the rain? Or do you need to be covered, by that i mean the camera.

With the camera you list, yes you need a raincoat for it. Check your local pro shops in your area. I haven't priced them recently but I'm thinking around $80 US.
