We just returned from a trip to Iceland. because of the weather we only had two opportunities to see the Aurora.
It was very faint and only appeared a fuzzy grey-white cloud on the horizon to the naked eye. the camera however has the advantage of night color vision if you use a long enough exposure to gather enough photons.
An exposure 30 seconds, with my max f 5.6 aperture and the ISO cranked up to 6400 changes every thing.
