The starling managed to get nine mealworms in one beakful.

After such treats - bread stuffed down your beak is not so inviting.

Just like toddlers deciding the do not want to open thier mouths for what you think they should eat!

Fun thread, Fangman. That first starling certainly isn't on a diet, if it grabbed 9 mealworms at one go! And I like your 'take' on the second pic: "Uh uh, I'm not gonna eat that".
