Shots of the meteor shower tonight!

Has anyone heard of the showering happening tonight? Heres the article NEWS
I really want to, but my star shots have always been out of focus. I'll post an example when I get home. Is there some trick to bring the stars into focus easily?

When I focus at infinity it's never sharp. I guess I should do what Kundalini says and go a little back. I was just wondering if anyone was going to be watching/photographing the show and if there was a trick to perfectly focus.

Pretty much what Kundalini said. I find that focusing at infinity and then slightly backing off wields better results. Focus to infinity take a shot, back out a tiny bit, take a shot, tiny bit more, take a shot and then compare.
