Showdown at the Pennington Saloon

These two were going at it for quite some time. They finally established a truce, for a short time anyway. It was overcast and raining, so we've gone from being in a furnace to being in a sauna, which is much more miserable in my opinion.

3 And a murder happened in the back yard. There were a half dozen of them, but I only got this one, because they scattered once I came out the door.

Thank you! I have not been to the bird sanctuaries along the coast yet. They are on my list of places to visit, if I can just get away... :laughing:

I encourage you to go. When I was there my mom's best friend, who independently became a bird photog, brought me there.
