Hi Jon, been trying to keep myself busy, trying not to become a couch potato. Being unemployed can ruin you in a hurry if ya let it. The good thing is, the "honey do" list is just about complete. :mrgreen:

yep, chiller and i have been posting a bunch of graveyard pics with the hopes of catching a crow perched atop an old tombstone...they aren't cooperating. so our posts are mainly stones with crows dressed up as other fowl. :lmao:

And as for flexibility, Raymond, be calm: I can't do that, either . But then I also don't have that gland... what is it called again? Rump gland? ... anywhere there.

I have no idea what it's called. Rump, for me, normally means bum so... I thought the oil came from around their head or soemthing?

No, they pick it up from somewhere on their rump/bum. And spread it with the help of their head/face (how else, tip of their wing only applies to comic strips...).

I couldn't tell it was a bird at first. I thought it was some sort of weird feathery nautilus shell but that's just coz I'm editing my aquarium shots atm. Laughed though when I realised! Great capture. I'm in awe at how you people get these animal shots.
